Unframed – Mickey in all its states

This work depicts Mickey Mouse, an animated character confronted with emblematic figures from the history of art, but immobile, locked in their frame, thus becoming unreal, frozen.

The stripes in the background symbolising the bars of a prison that fame only consolidates.

On this canvas words allow a double reading.

The visitor becomes part of a dialogue, unwillingly integrated into the work.
